In the years 1983-1989 he studied interior architecture and monumental painting at the Institute of Applied Arts in Kharkiv. In 1990 Kulik went to Poland and settled in Warsaw. He paints series of oil paintings inspired by great historical and contemporary figures as well as artists and the mood of places.
