    Jack Henry Reid CSPWC (1925 - 2009) (1)

    A painter, educator, author and graphic artist, Jack Henry Reid (aka: Jack Reid) was born in Toronto, Ontario and died in Orillia, Ontario, where he had lived for the last three years of his life. He exhibited and taught widely in Canada and elsewhere; it's estimated that over ten thousand amateur and professional artists have taken his classes, seminars and workshops.

    His primary medium was watercolors. His subjects were landscapes, snowscapes, mountains, rivers, tree studies, rural scenes and coastal views. His styles were Realism* and Plein-Air Painting*. The AskART images are excellent illustrations of his oeuvre.
