    Konupek, frame, drawing well-known and successful illustrator bears characteristic features his work. Konupek was already influenced by Czech literary literature in his youth decadence and especially Art Nouveau.

    During his studies, he met Pavel Janák and Vlastislav Hofman, who became famous for their Cubist morphology. He also had his work influenced by Christian themes, symbolism (after all, he knew František Bílek well, Otokar He illustrated Brezin's Dawn in the West) with his dream imagination and mysticism.

    He co-founded Artel and the Sursum association and was a member of Hollar
