Januri was selected for the Project MA-GER Art Exchange first held in Kuala Lumpur in 2002 before the Indonesian component in 2002. In 2008, he was selected for the RBS-Malihom artist residency and was given a solo exhibition, his career fourth, called The Land of Tragedy at Galeri Chandan, Kuala Lumpur, after his first three were held in Indonesia. Januri was selected for the Project MA-GER Art Exchange first held in Kuala Lumpur in 2002 before the Indonesian component in 2002. In 2008, he was selected for the RBS-Malihom artist residency and was given a solo exhibition, his career fourth, called The Land of Tragedy at Galeri Chandan, Kuala Lumpur, after his first three were held in Indonesia. The first one was held in 2003 at Edwin Gallery in Jakarta. He studied at the Indonesian Institute of Art (ISI) in Yogyakarta (1996), and took part in art workshops in Thailand and Vietnam. Januri was selected for the Project MA-GER Art Exchange first held in Kuala Lumpur in 2002 before the Indonesian component in 2002. In 2008, he was selected for the RBS-Malihom artist residency and was given a solo exhibition, his career fourth, called The Land of Tragedy at Galeri Chandan, Kuala Lumpur, after his first three were held in Indonesia.
