Jerry Zeniuk is a German-American painter whose work is deeply rooted in the philosophical and perceptual dimensions of color. Born to Ukrainian refugees, he emigrated to the United States in 1950 and grew up in Colorado. His artistic journey led him to New York, where he held his first solo exhibition in 1972 at Paley & Lowe Gallery.

Zeniuk emerged as a key figure in the analytical, fundamental, and radical painting movements of the 1970s—approaches that emphasized the material and conceptual essence of painting itself.
