    Jesus Carlos de Vilallonga is a painter, muralist, printmaker, designer and sculptor who was born in Santa Coloma de Farners, Spain (in the northeast near Barcelona). He moved to Montreal, Canada in 1954, and lived there until the 1960's when he began dividing his time between there and Barcelona. When his Canadian dealer of 30 years, Max Stern of the Dominion Gallery died in 1988, Vilallonga moved to Barcelona permanently, where he still lives and works.

    His mediums are fresco, oil, egg tempera, acrylic, gouache, watercolour (especially in mid 1950's Montreal work), collage, etching, lithography, screen printing, digital art and mixed mediums. His sculptures are in bronze and aluminum. He has also...
