    Joan Vives Llull was a Menorcan painter who trained in Mallorca with Anglada-Camarasa. He returned to Menorca after five years and worked as a drawing teacher and director of the municipal school to make ends meet. He held some painting exhibitions on the island and occasionally in various cities in the rest of Spain.

    He frequently exhibited his work in the Balearic Islands and took part in official exhibitions such as the First Spanish Exhibition of Fine Arts. He died in 1982 and is currently represented in the Museo de Menorca and the Museo de Ses Voltes in Mallorca, as well as in various private collections.
