    Johann Georg Mohr, German landscape painter, graphic artist, illustrator and sculptor (1864 Frankfurt am Main - 1943 Frankfurt am Main), 1882-85 pupil of the Städel Institute in Frankfurt am Main and 1885-87 studied at the Berlin Academy, here pupil of Anton von Werner and Max Michael, undertook numerous study trips, including to Venice and Florence, around 1900 stayed at the Willingshausen painters' colony in the Schwalm, maintained his painting school in Frankfurt am Main at the beginning of the 20th century, member of the Association of German Illustrators, worked in Frankfurt am Main, at times based in Wilhelmsbad near Hanau.
