    John Graham Coughtry CGP, CSGA (1931 - 1999)

    An important Canadian painter, draftsman, graphic artist, sculptor, printmaker, muralist and educator, John Graham Coughtry (AKA: Graham Coughtry) was born in Saint-Lambert, Quebec (a Montreal suburb) and died in Claremont, Ontario (a Toronto suburb). His art is discussed in most Canadian art history books, it's been featured in numerous landmark exhibitions, and it represented Canada at the Venice Biennale*. Most major Canadian museums collect his works.
