    John Ivar Berg was a Swedish artist who studied at various painting schools and the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm during the 1930s and 1940s. He exhibited with the artist group Sju unga in Malmö in 1942 and participated in various exhibitions throughout his career.

    Berg was known for his concrete paintings, as well as other works such as a 40 square meter mosaic in Solberga and an enamel painting at Gubbängen's youth hotel. He is represented in various museums in Sweden, including the Museum of Modern Art and Waldemarsudde in Stockholm and the Norrköping Art Museum.
