    Jorge Galindo is a Spanish artist who began his artistic training at the Talleres de Arte Actual del Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. He started exhibiting his work in the 1980s and his early productions focused on experimentation with the material and tactile aspects of painting. Galindo's work is characterized by gestural abstraction and the intervention of chance and material aspects.

    During the 1990s, he experimented with photomontages using images from the illustrated media of the 1950s and 1960s to express a critique of consumer society.
