Jozef Guranowski lived from 1852 to 1922. He was a painter and decorator. From 1868 he studied with A. Malinowski as an apprentice in the decorator of Warsaw Government Theaters. In 1880, he became a junior decorator, and in the years 1891-1908 together with K. Klopfer he became the main decorator of Warsaw Government Theaters.
