    The painter Julián Ibáñez de Aldecoa trained as a disciple of Mr. Anselmo Guinea and of Mr. Ronquero and Mr. Ferrant. He later moved to Paris to further his artistic studies at the Colarossi Academy. He took part in the National Fine Arts Exhibitions in Madrid in 1897, 1901 and 1917, and also exhibited his paintings at the Bilbao Art Salon (1915 and 1916) and the Legorghen Salon (1924 and 1925).

    He also exhibited at the Salón La Perfecta in San Sebastián (1916), the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Bilbao (1919), the Salón Witcomb in Rosario, Argentina (1922 and 1927) and the Salón Delclaux in Bilbao (1933). He also took part in group exhibitions such as the Modern Art Exhibitions held in Bilbao in 1901, 1906, 191...
