About Julie Jeppsen

    Growing up on a sheep farm in rural Utah, wildlife artist Julie Jeppsen is known for her paintings combining realism and atmosphere of wild animals in landscape. She developed a strong work ethic, and her art talent was evident, especially when she sold her first piece at age fourteen.

    She appears to have inherited art talent from her mother and a love of the outdoors from her father. As an artist, she is completely self-taught and has a wide range of animal subject matter including two wolves, which she raised on her farm. She lives in rural Illinois with her husband and five kids.
