    Julius Kronberg was born in 1850. Julius Kronberg is regarded as an under-child of art and started at the Academy of Sciences as a 14-year-old. In 1874, Kronberg traveled to Munich, where he was inspired by Hans Makart's colorful paintings. In this Bavarian city, he received a breakthrough with the painting Jaktnymf and Fauner, which was published in 1875. The German audience and the German art exhibition were attributed to this masterpiece. When the painting of the following year was published at the National Museum in Stockholm, it was considered a sensation and enthusiastic August Strindberg wrote in Dagens Nyheter: "Fall down and worship the triumph of painting".
