    Julius Stabiak was born in Sosnowiec in 1917. He was a Polish painter associated with the Krakow artistic community. He learned painting under the guidance of Wojciech Kossak and found a job as an assistant in his studio.  Stabiak practiced technique of oil, and, more rarely, watercolors. His work is dominated landscapes, forest views, often lively parties trappings and motives Krakow. A big part of his work are the scenes set in the scenery of the village near Krakow: presentation of humble peasant homesteads, wooden churches, carts, or about rogue riders, weddings Krakow in colorful folk costumes and Cracow florists. His work painted with great vigor, operating easily extinguished range of colors, they disclose impressionistic sensitiv...
