  • Biography

    Painting and selling her art at her family's summer residence on Martha's Vineyard, the artist's career is a natural continuation of her childhood passion.She received a B.F.A. from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1991, having studied in particular art history and life drawing. She continued her studies at the School of Representational Art in Chicago, Illinois, where she completed a four-year course of the classical technique. Since completing the program in 1996, she has worked in oil and watercolor both in Charleston, South Carolina, and on Martha's Vineyard, Mass., exhibiting her work in both states.
