    Karlheinz Khun was born in 1930 in Leipzig, and had an apprenticeship as a lithographer from 1945-1948. Karlheinz studied from 1949 to 1953 at the School of Visual Arts Leipzig and received a degree with honors. Kuhn was a professor from 1953-57, and from 1965 primarily took artistic assignments related to architecture, interior and exterior surfaces in different techniques. Kuhn had exhibitions at home and abroad. He was a lecturer at the University of Rostock from 1961 - 1966. Then a lecturer at the School of Visual Arts in Leipzig from 1968 - 1978. Karlheinz Kuhn passed away in 2001 in Rostock.
