    Education:
    Age 8-17: Studied art with Joseph DeSalvi and took art lessons at the Art Institute of Chicago

    Attended American Academy of Art, in Chicago, IL, during High School years on an Art Competition scholarship from Stanford University. (Studied under William Mosby and others).

    Graduated from the American Academy of Art in 1954

    Apprenticed with Haddon Sundblom

    Influences: Rembrandt, Franz Hall, and John Singer Sargent

    Mediums: mostly oil and bronze: also pastel and conte'

    Awards , Honors, Accolades:
    1955: Annual Art Competition, International Ballet Club Artists League, Chicago: 3rd prize
