    Kosso Eloul RCA (1920 – 1995)

    An important Canadian/American/Israeli sculptor, Kosso Eloul was born in Mourom, U.S.S.R., raised in Israel (1924 – 1938), educated in the U.S.A. (1939 – 1943) and moved to Montreal, Canada in 1964. He lived in Toronto from 1969 until his death. Eloul is best known as the creator of monumental sculptures which are located in public spaces throughout Canada, the USA and Israel. Perhaps his most well-known work is the eternal flame at the Holocaust Memorial, Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, Israel. His works are also in many museum collections. (1)
