    Studied in Yekaterinburg with N.M. Plyusnin (1889-1895), at the Higher Art and Industrial School named after. S.G. Stroganov (1896-97), in MUZHVZ (1898-1907) with V. Serov, K. Korovin and A. Stepanov. Member of the SRH (1910), TPHV (1911-12), AHRR (1924-1927). Since 1904, he took an active part in exhibitions: TPHV (1904-12), SRH (1904-23), “Assembly” (1924), AHRR (1926), OKR (1927-28). In 1919-1920 taught at the Free Art Studios in Yekaterinburg. The master's works are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
