    Leon Bellefleur was a very important Canadian painter, printmaker and graphic artist who worked into his nineties. His career includes a solo exhibition at the National Gallery of Canada, and group exhibitions with the Guggenhiem International and CoBrA*. His works are included in most exhibitions that examine the scope of 20th Century Canadian art and in most recent books that discuss Canadian modern art.
