    Loretta Feeney is a contemporary artist living on Cape Cod. The subjects with which she is most associated are seascapes, cityscapes of New York, and a series on Boston's historic Fenway Park. Her work in modern impressionistic style has vibrant colors.

    Born in 1961 and still working and living on the Cape, she studied under modern Cape Cod painter, Sam Barber and briefly with Provincetown teacher Henry Hensche, as well as at the Gloucester Academy of Art.

    She has won gold medals at many Cape Cod juried shows, as well as at the
    Salmagundi Club in New York, and in 1986, the Sara Boal Award at New York's National Art Club.

    She was featured in The American Artist magazine in 1988.
