    Charlotta (Lotten) Sofia Rönquist was a Swedish artist who was admitted to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1884 and studied there until 1890. She shared a studio with Hilma af Klint and Alma Arnell in the "Atelier Building" in Stockholm. Rönquist traveled to France and Italy for further studies and work, painting various subjects such as portraits, interiors, landscapes, and still lifes. She was a member of the Swedish Artists' Association and participated in numerous exhibitions during her career. Rönquist passed away at the age of 48, and a memorial exhibition was held in her honor in 1912 at Salong Joël in Stockholm.Information provided by the user.
