    Louis-Eugene Glasser (born Belfort, France March 13 1897, died 1986)

    Appeared regularly with the Société des Artistes Indépendants and was known for his broad brushstrokes and bold use of color. He most often produced landscapes, marine scenes, and figural work (frequently nudes). Glasser painted regularly in Provence, Corsica, North Africa and Holland.
