    Louis Jaque RCA, SAPQ (1919 – 2010)

    A prominent Canadian painter, printmaker, furniture designer, interior designer, muralist, draftsman and educator, Louis Jaque (aka: Louis-Jacques Beaulieu) (nee Louis-Jacques Beaulieu) was born in Montreal, Quebec, lived his whole life there, and died there. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts* (1978) and a founder and President of the Society of Professional Artists of Quebec [SAPQ] (1966). His works are in numerous Canadian museums including the National Gallery of Canada. (1)
