About Lucio Pozzi

  • Biography

    Lucio Pozzi was born in Milan, Italy in 1935. After living for some years in Rome where he studied architecture, he went to the United States in 1962 as a guest of the Harvard International Summer Seminar. Afterwards, he moved definitively to New York and took American citizenship. Currently he divides his time between his studio in Hudson and the one in Valeggio sul Mincio (Verona).

    Since 1961, Pozzi has shown his works in one-man and group exhibitions at the most important Italian and international galleries and museums. In 1977 he participated in the Kassel Documenta* VI and in the 39th Venice Biennial* of Art in 1980.
