    Ludwig Correggio, born in 1846 in Munich, was a German-Italian landscape painter. He was the son and pupil of the still life painter Joseph Correggio. Ludwig studied at the Munich Academy with Hermann Anschütz starting in 1862 and maintained a friendship with Wilhelm Leibl. He was a member of the Munich Artists' Association and was active in Munich throughout his career.
