CostLHe was in the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In the spring of 1939, he went on a scholarship to Paris, then, along with other students of W. Zawadowski, to Aix-en-Provence. After 1947, the artist settled in Menton on the Bay of Lions. Together with Henri Matiss, he initiated in 1951. The Internationale d’Art de Menton Biennale, where he exhibited his paintings. His works were awarded with a silver medal in 1951 and 1953. He painted about 3000 paintings. Many of them have been exhibited in renowned galleries around the world. After the artist’s death, the Louvre of Paris purchased a large collection of his works for his collections.
