    Luigi Morgari was an Italian artist who specialized in secular and religious subjects, often treated through a mystical and dreamy aura. He was a pupil of Enrico Gamba and Andrea Gastaldi at the Accademia Albertina. Morgari exhibited his works in Turin, Milan, Florence, and Rome, and worked as an affrescatore in numerous sanctuaries and churches throughout Italy. Among his notable works are the frescoes in the minor Roman Basilica of San Nicolò in Lecco, executed between 1925 and 1928.
