Luis Fernando Benedit was an Argentinean artist born in 1937, a master influenced by experimental and informal art, with his work becoming prevalent post war. He was also greatly influenced by the Cobra movement with his pieces reflecting their same ideas. His elemental forms bordered on folk art and were the combination of colorful pop art along with architectural shapes.
