Li Lu-Ming was born in Hunan in 1957, and completed master's degree from Graduate School of China Art Academy in 1985. Currently he works as the Vice President and Editor of Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House, and frequently publishes art critique. Li's painting mostly surrounds with scenes of Cultural Revolution, which shows the world this iconic image in Chinese history. If one carefully observes his artwork, one will see that Li has put personal symbols into it, and some of them are even considered to be private. The artist turns the memory into a more emotional state; the captured image not only recalls those memories to that special generation, but also recalls people's feelings and thoughts of that time.
