Born in Warsaw in 1983, Magdalena Szilke is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Painting. She completed her diploma in the studio of professor Stanislaw Baj, obtaining a dean's distinction. Both in painting and in other techniques, the artist is inspired by organic forms and their richness of colors and textures. However, she processes them in his own way. Objects observed in the environment are always inspiration. She is also interested in landscape. Since 2009, Szilke has been working with artistic fabrics in the studio of professor Dorota Grynczel, in which she received a distinction and completed the annex.
