    An Expressionist painter, he was primarily self-taught, without formal schooling. He was influenced by Hohenleitter, and especially by Ressendi, who was also a friend, giving him advice about his painting.

    Monedero was born at Seville in 1925, in the well-known "Alameda de Hércules". His first exhibition was held in 1961 at the Dickson Gallery (Washington). All along the 60s he had several exhibitions in the US, from Washington to Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, Princeton, and California. He also showed his works in Montreal … on all the occasions he was always sponsored by well-known galleries.

    His first Spanish exhibition was in 1965 at the Florencia Gallery in Seville. After that, he had four exhibition...
