She taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Already in 1928 she participated in the Venice Biennale. Branded as "degenerate" by the Nazi regime, her works of art were removed from exhibitions and museums and burned or destroyed. In 1947, Caspar-Filser was able to build on her pre-war achievements.
