Favorite subjects for portraits were children and mothers and children. Page studied with Helen Knowlton from 1886 to 1889, and at the Boston Museum School from 1890 to 1895 with Edmund C. Tarbell and Frank W. Benson. Her art education continued during a trip to Europe in 1903, when she copied Velasquez's paintings in Spain, and then studied color theory back in the United States with Denman Ross at Harvard summer school. She painted an interesting portrait of her husband, Calvin G. Page, whom she had... Read full biography
