Marj Bond RSW studied Drawing and Painting at Glasgow School of Art, tutored by Alex Dick, David Donaldson, Mary Armour and Benno Schotz. The expressionist principles in her work is based on their influences.

Based in Scotland, Marj Bond's work is inspired by her travels to India, Morrocco, Spain and Cuba and the symbols and colors from these places. Her sketches, photographs and of temples, fossils, kasbas and celtic symbols are edited on to canvas and paper and transformed into her personal glyphs and marks.
