    Perrot, Maurice Ferdinand (1892-1974)

    The artist was born in Verneuil Seine-et-Oise, France in 1892. Known as a painter, engraver, and lithographer, he also produced costumes and theater decorations.

    Maurice F. Perrot received his artistic training at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, where his instructors were Gabriel Ferrier and Francois Flameng. It was through them that he acquired a great technical mastery and a taste for a classic and often virtuoso painting. His early works were accepted at the Salon des Artistes Francais, of which he became a member in 1923.
