    Maurice Lefebvre (Schaarbeek 1873 - Brussels, 1954) was a Belgian Realist painter of landscapes, figures and portraits. He was also both a decorator and a poet.

    He received his artistic education at the Academy of Brussels under the tutelage of H. Van der Hecht and Jean Portaels. Lefebvre became a professor at the Academy of Sint-Gillis in 1906.

    He painted many landscapes in Versailles.

    He became a member of "Le Sillon" and also a collaborator for both "Le Thyrse" and "La Wallonie".

    In 1955, a retrospective was held in his honour in Brussels.
