    Miroslaw Pokora (born in 1933 in Warsaw, died in 2006) - Polish book illustrator (mainly children's literature), poster artist, author of satirical drawings and caricaturist. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

    He made his debut as a cartoonist in 1955 in the "Przyjazn" weekly, he published in Polish magazines (including Szpilki, Swiat, Dookola swiat, Kurier Polski) and foreign magazines (including Norwegian Aften Posten). and the Danish "Politiken").
