    Nadezhda Udaltsova was born in 1886. Nadezhda Udaltsova was a Russian artist who studied at the K.F. Yuon Arts School and various Moscow Studios. She also studied and worked in Paris at “La Palette” Academy under famous cubists.

    Udaltsova was a member of the “Supremus” Association, headed by K.S. Malevich, and was his assistant at the 1st Free Arts Studios. She participated in various exhibitions and was a teacher at the Textile Faculty of the VhUTEMAS-VHUTEIN Arts Institute.

    Her works are kept in the State Tretiakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and different leading museums in Russia and abroad. The artist passed away in 1961.
