    Normand Hudon (1929 - 1997)

    Normand Hudon (AKA: Remy) was a painter, illustrator, humorist and famous Quebec editorial cartoonist. (1)

    He was born in Montreal, Quebec, lived there or in its environs most of his life and died there. (2)

    His primary medium was oil on board, although, he has works in acrylic, gouache*, pastel, pencil, ink, colored pencil, collage*, lithograph* and mixed mediums. His subjects are humor, satire, social commentary, politics, landscape, snowscape, Montreal street scenes, genre* and portraits. His styles are Caricature*, Fauvism*, and Realism*.
