After a figurative period of the twentieth century in Paris, following different genres of painting, portraits, landscapes, battles and costume parties, Medici, from 1939 to 1945, turned to a rethinking of Cubism and then landed in Abstractionism in 1950. With La Notte he was present at the first major exhibition of Abstractionism in Prato in 1950.
