Oswald Obernhuber studied at the Academy of Arts in Vienna with Wotruba and at the National Academy in Stuttgart in Baumeister. Until about 1957 he engaged in informal painting and sculpture, then began his representational figure painting. Between 1958 and 1961 he gave his work a new change: Now leaned Oberhuber any style education, and it created pictures in vielfältigster technique and themes.
