Otto Herbig, born on December 31, 1889, in Dorndorf, Werra, was a German artist, credited of being the torchbearer of the German Expressionism. As a faculty scholar, he appeared enthralled by the architectural brilliance of his native metropolis, as was evident in his earlier work. Owing to his creative aptitude, Otto Herbig enrolled into the Munich Artwork Academy, throughout 1909 to 1911. On the academy, the artist was launched to ‘Expressionism,’* which inspired him deeply.
