    Paul Ambille (French, 1930-) was born in Bezier, France. He was a painter known for his impressionistic style oil paintings of seascapes, marine themes, still lifes, dance & equestrian scenes. He has won several prizes and gold medals for his work including the Grand Prix de Rome, in 1955.

    He studied at the Ecole National School des Beaux-Arts, in Paris. He exhibited in France, Italy, the United States, Germany, Japan, China and Australia.

    Ambille was the Honorary president of the Company of French Artists and JIAS of Tokyo, President of the International Salon of Paris, Boitiat Academy and President of the Taylor Foundation. He was a member of the Commission of the Purchases of the French ...
