    Paul Wilhelm Bürck, German painter, graphic artist and craftsman (1878 Strasbourg and 1947 Munich).

    1894 - 97 decorative painter teaching and parallel studies at the school of Applied Arts Munich, in 1899 appointed to the newly founded "Mathildenhöhe"by the Grand Duke of Hesse Darmstadt, as the youngest member of the artists' colony; 1902 - 04 teacher at the school of Applied Arts Magdeburg; 1905 - 08 stay in Rome, worked freelance in Munich from 1908, participated in the exhibitions in the glass Palace Munich; member of the German Association of Artists Weimar, the Munich Artists' Association and the Federation of independent artist in Munich,
