    Paul Iribe was born in Angouleme, France on June 18, 1883. Iribe (né Iribarnegaray) studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts from 1908 to 1910. In 1919 he arrived in Hollywood to do design work for Cecil B. DeMille's "Ten Commandments" and "King of Kings."

    He returned to Paris in the mid-1920s and died in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France on September 21, 1935.
