    Paul Marcel Balmigere

    1882-1953

    Born in Candies, France in 1882, Paul Marcel Balmigere is known primarily for his landscape and cityscape paintings. He was a pupil of Francois Flameng and Adolphe Déchenaud.

    Balmigere exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris from 1927-1938 and at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1927-1939, receiving an honorable mention in 1930, a silver medal in 1935 and the prize awarded by the Société des Paysagistes Français (Society of French Landscape Artists) in 1938.
