    Paul Seston is a French painter of the twentieth century, born in Nantes on October 1, 1905 and died in Nantes on June 23, 1985.

    He was a student of Emile Simon and Emmanuel Fougerat at the School of Fine Arts in Nantes. He has painted many paintings, more specifically studies and compositions of roses inspired by his own rose garden where he cultivated more than 100 varieties. It will also produce landscapes of Brittany, Pays de Loire and Sud-Ouest as well as still lifes.

    Training :

    Two childhood works, made at the black street boys' school, can be seen in the book by Didier Guivarc'h Moi Marie Rocher, schoolgirl at war: drawings d'enfants, 1914-1919.
